Italian with Lucia Free trial

Privacy

Short and plain: what Lucia stores about you, why, and what you can ask for.

Who is responsible

Italian with Lucia is the teaching practice of Lucia, a self-employed teacher in Prague, Czech Republic. Contact: lucia.scollo2000@gmail.com.

What is stored, and why

  • When you book a lesson or sign in: your name, email, level, what you want to learn Italian for, your time zone, and your lessons (dates, notes, homework, package). This is used only to organise and teach your lessons and to contact you about them.
  • When you email Lucia: your message and address, used to reply.
  • Payments: handled directly between you and Lucia (for example by Revolut or bank transfer). The website does not process payments.

The legal basis is your request to take lessons and, for the free trial form, your consent (the box you tick).

Who can see it

Only you (after signing in with your email) and Lucia. The data is stored with a database provider (Supabase) that works on Lucia's behalf. It is never sold and never used for advertising.

Cookies and other services

The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, an optional video preview comes from YouTube, and signing in stores a small token in your browser so you stay signed in. These services may receive your IP address when the page loads.

How long, and your rights

Data is kept while you are a student and for as long as needed afterwards for lesson records and accounting. You can ask at any time to see your data, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing lucia.scollo2000@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
