Learn Italian in Prague, with a teacher who adapts to you
Prague is full of people who want to speak Italian: expats with an Italian partner, professionals who work with Italian clients, travellers planning a long trip to Italy, and students who simply love the language. Lucia teaches all of them, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and every lesson is built around your level and your goals.
Lessons are one-to-one and last 60 minutes. You speak from the first minute, and the grammar is explained clearly so it finally makes sense. Lessons are taught for English speakers, so explanations are in English whenever you need them and in Italian as soon as you are ready.
Who these lessons are for
- Expats and long-term residents who want to follow Italian conversations, films and food culture.
- People with an Italian partner or family who want to talk to them, and to their relatives, in Italian.
- Professionals who deal with Italian colleagues or clients and need the right vocabulary and etiquette.
- Travellers and future residents of Italy who want to handle real situations: restaurants, trains, flats, paperwork.
- Learners who feel stuck and want precise feedback on pronunciation and grammar.
What a lesson looks like
Every lesson follows a simple rhythm, so you always know where you are:
- A short warm-up conversation, to get you thinking in Italian.
- One clear focus: a grammar point, a topic or a situation you actually need.
- Guided speaking practice, with corrections that stay friendly.
- Homework and materials between classes, so progress continues during the week.
Lessons follow the Nuovo Espresso coursebook series, one volume per level, combined with extra material chosen for you. Not sure which level to buy? Wait for the free trial: Lucia will tell you.
