A real teacher, a real conversation
Apps are great for vocabulary, but they cannot hear your pronunciation, answer your questions or notice the mistake you keep repeating. In an online lesson with Lucia, you speak Italian from the first minutes and get feedback on the spot. Most of Lucia's lessons happen online, so the format is smooth and well tested.
How online lessons work
- Live video, one-to-one, 60 minutes per lesson.
- A shared whiteboard for grammar, new words and examples, so you see everything as it is explained.
- Recorded materials and homework between lessons, so you can review at your own pace.
- Scheduling around your time zone. Tell Lucia where you live and when you are free.
Lessons are taught for English speakers. You can ask in English whenever something is unclear, and Lucia moves into Italian as soon as you are ready.
What you need
- A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone.
- A stable internet connection and, if possible, headphones.
- A quiet corner for 60 minutes.
Who online lessons are for
Online lessons suit people in Prague who prefer to learn from home, expats who travel, and students living in other countries. If you live in Prague you can also meet Lucia in person: see Italian lessons in Prague. You can mix both formats.
Levels and goals
Lucia teaches every level, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. Lessons can focus on everyday conversation, grammar and pronunciation, Italian for work, or preparing a trip. New to Italian? Read about Italian for beginners.
Prices
The first 30 minutes are free. After that you choose a package of 60-minute lessons, with materials and homework included:

Payment by Revolut is preferred; bank transfer also works. Lessons can be cancelled up to 24 hours before they start.
